The PSLE Intensive English, part of our PSLE English tuition programme, is a comprehensive 3-day PSLE Paper 2 intensive revision course that covers many of the strategies, skills and techniques needed for your child to do well in the different components of the English Language Paper 2.
Identifying question types and knowing what is being tested for each question is the key to doing well for the PSLE English Paper 2.
Your child will be taught how to spot trickier question types in grammar, sentence synthesis, editing, visual text and vocabulary. Your child will also benefit from the extensive practice in each of the components as a run up to the actual PSLE paper.

- Grammar review (Including Grammar Cloze)
- Synthesis and Transformation Review (focusing on a mixture of grammar-based synthesis and transformation types as well as synthesis and transformation practices involving changing word forms)
- Practice in reported speech and reporting questions
- Techniques for identifying contextual clues, understanding and answering Comprehension Cloze
- Techniques and strategies for tackling visual text
- Effective tips for vocabulary MCQ and word replacement questions
